It really does 95% of what I usually do with complex formulas but in a simpler, less error-prone, and repeatable way. What really helped me level up my skills was learning power query and power pivot from youtube videos. However, while the courses cover formulas, even the advanced course fell significantly short on a lot of the methods I used regularly like index-match, v-lookup, and array formulas and I feel these are important for the types of analyses you’ve listed. It helped me finally fill some of the gaps in my knowledge like (embarrassingly) the format painter.
